All I can say, WOW! You are an incredibly talented and creative designer, who has obviously also learned the true body of proper draping and pattern technique! I am anxious to try to duplicate your garment. I am wondering if you could also do a draping of the skirt portion of this dress. It is an absolutely perfect complement to your bodice and sleeve silhouette. I am guessing it is gored, but also has some slight fullness at the waistline??? It almost looks like it is an ever-so-slightly dropped waist, but such subtle hand is used, that I can’t tell exactly how you achieved this flowing yet structured design. In any case, thank you so very much for your videos! You exemplify how truly “fun” and enjoyable sewing can be! When this is coupled with such a high understanding of the technical knowledge, it is a gift to us all! Thank you!!!

@@minabaouche7056 I understand your dilemma, but would still recommend her videos very highly. I also have used Google Translate app for languages and find it very helpful. This is, of course, in vietnamese, but I like the way she makes things very visual. A drafting book or two (there are many available) might answer many of your questions. She uses classic dimension, perspective and approach. Her classical training comes through loud and clear! If you have access, I recommend archive.org to get an idea of different draping and drafting books to find one or two. I would recommend more of the classic textbook offerings. I don’t mean to imply that you don’t already have a strong background in this subject, but just in case you might wish to expand. I highly recommend it as an avenue to explore and expand your knowledge.... i continue to expand my understanding and technique even after almost 50 years of sewing. Also, highly recommend the old vogue designer patterns (my Mother taught me using these patterns). the old designers used essentially of the same approach as this very gifted young designer!!! Good luck, and I hope this helps you in some small way. Creating things yourself is highly rewarding!!!!

Очень хороший мастер-класс, потрясающая техника драпировки "роза". И крой рукава очень интересный. Спасибо мастеру за познавательное видео. Но, главный акцент в платье это драпированная роза, остальные детали не должны перетягивать на себя внимание. В этом платье перегруз деталей, я не стала бы делать к нему юбку клёш и рукава буф, сюда нужен прилегающий рукав и прямая юбка-карандаш. Тем не менее, Мастеру браво за работу!
