I know someone who left her hair straightener plugged in but it was turned off, and it burned her house down 😬 so I always unplug appliances too when I’m not using them.

i personally unplug it after im done because im done using it yanno. i dont have any fear about it, it just seems like the most logical thing to do in my opinion

I still find it nuts your plugs don't have a on and off switch like they do here in the UK. Meaning it can be plugged in but the switch turned off so there is no electricity getting to the appliance untill you flick it on at the on button
