I bought one of those secondhand. They are pretty cool! I use it with a camera connection kit to my iPad/iPhone with GarageBand IOS. Sounds really good!!

Yup its a pretty clean mic. I've been mainly using mine for Google Meet or Zoom and some voice over work.

This mic is good if you don't want to spend for a dedicated usb or firewire interface. If you have the money, buy a dedicated interface and then a good condenser mic. Like the one I compared in the video which I believe is an AKG Perception 220

It should work fine for vocal recording. Just keep in mind that you won't need an interface since this is a straight to usb mic.
