Fifish V6s EVO Expert Adventure Dive to recover Cell Phones

Every Summer my friends and I take our ROV's (Underwater Drones) out and recover trash from our waterways. Most of the small stuff we can pick up with the claw. But the Big Stuff we Geo Tag, then later rent a Boat with a hoist to remove the item. it then gets returned to the owner. Or properly disposed of (Like Batterys and Tires). the rest is recycled or taken to the dump. Renting a boat is a bit spendy. Which is why I'm asking you to help out with a donation. We also enjoy filming underwater. lots of stuff most folks never see. Several different species of fish.. Including

@@seearress most of the time, it's just stuff we find. If I'm asked to retrieve something specific, they usually offer a price.

@@artemsem1586 2 completely different ROV's The Expert is a Marine Science ROV. Ment for stuff like aquaculture or underwater mapping. the EVO is for fun diving and finding stuff underwater... BIG Price difference.. they dont compare.

Very nice video I'm not sure which ROV I should buy, the EVO or the Expert. The Evo has the smaller battery and less attachable accessories but the camera is slightly better. But the Expert is really cool. What would you recommend?

Depends on what you plan on using it for. If you're doing marine science the Expert is the way to go. If you want cool video and just pick up stuff off the bottom get the EVO .

@@CurtisDart How long does the battery last on average? I think if I want to take the drone on vacation I will have problems with the Expert at the airport, as it has 159 Wh. Are these 9000 mah enough for the Evo?

Is a settling in fifish v-evo for the colour so will not green videos.?

I live in the Pacific Northwest. Our water is green, So I kept the color as is. Color is gonna depend on where yer diving. But setting white balance and exposure in the app will help with color correction in post.

Hey Curtis, love your Fifish Videos! I wonder, it seems like you guys can work nicely together wit 2 Rovs? A friend and I where diving with two V-Evos together aswell and we both got disconnected really often, we couldnt find out what the problem was, maybe you can tell me? The ROV just randomly gets frozen video transmission and sinks down to the ground as the engines turn off, to get back in you got to reboot the app and the controller.

That is strange. Never had that happen to us. As far as our setup. We're using an iPad pro. And a tripletek android based tablet. So it might be because we're using different operating systems. I'm not sure if that would make a difference, but it's what we're doing, and we have never had any kinda drop out. Also. All my ROVs are different. That also might be where your issue is. Feel free to reach out to me on Facebook and we can try to work thru this issue for you..

@@CurtisDart Right now we dont have two ROV´s any longer 🥲 (It was just a lucky circumstance as mine had delivery delay and the shop where i ordered mine was giving me a "demo" model until mine got delivered, once it was we took the chance and did some dives together before sending it back :P ). I was using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Mobile phone and he was using a Ipad mini (not sure which exact model). But maybe at some point we will have two rovs again as im sure its not my last one 🤭

Haven't used it as much as I'd hoped due to work and life, but the few times I've had it out have been so entertaining, seeing all the sea life and finding shipwrecks & old bottles and other old items tossed away and lost has been my favorite thing to do so far. My recent video on my channel features a visit to an old shipwrecked tug in my local marina if you're interested in seeing! Very reliable machine, super quick and responsive!
