Been doing fifo for years, fn love it. The most important thing I have learnt is to have a good work life balance, it can be tough on relationships and kids.

do you mind to share what is weekend to you in the campsite, wifi connection, animal encounters, and salary compensation wise - do you get paid weekly? After fly-out? And how about the off week? Do they pay you too? Please don’t mind me asking, thank you so much. It meant a lot to me.

Weekends are the exactly the same as Monday to friay but on weekends we get paid time and a half and then on sundays. Fish and Chip Friday, BBQ night on Saturdays. Zero mad animal encounters tbh the whole year I was over there. Yeah I got paid weekly but it may be different for other companies. You should check out my stan store link bud. (linked in the descriptions) thats where I have all my services and help for people looking to get into FIFO. Have a look there and youll find heaps of help

@@martintrue8640 wont lie we make some pretty mean bank here, about 4k a week. Tax is a pain though. Starting out youd expect about 2k a week. And yeah you need to live over here before thinking of applying unless you have a skill i.e engineer, electician etc When I work over in Papua New Guinea (yes another country but we fly from Australia) its closer to 5-6k a week depending
