Actually incorrect. Any inhalation of smoke regardless of the origin (nicotine, marijuana, open flame) can be detrimental to the vocal cords. Think of it as you literally burning your vocal cords. It causes scarring, which can cause laryngitis, nodes, and lung disease, just like cigarettes. People always think that marijuana is safe. For singers, it is not. With the cord scarring, you may find that your range isn't what it used to be. Again, any inhalation of smoke can cause issues. Please educate yourself before putting this kind of info out there. There are people who will believe it. Google is your friend.
