I love the turkey breasts, yours was a great price as well. I got one a week ago for 3 lbs for $8 at Aldi. I remove the skin, then put on dry rub of smoked paprika, sage, rosemary etc and have it in the slow cooker. It is so good and flavorful.

The Cream cheese frosting is very good. Just remember to stir it very well before putting it on your cake. If you buy the turkey breast for lunch meat then get the boneless so it'll be easier to slice

Fred Meyer puts the Cook's picnic hams on sale before Thanksgiving for .99/lb every year. It might be a little higher this year. It should be with the next sale cycle that starts with the new online ads since they don't mail out ads anymore. It's either Tuesday or Wednesday that I'd check for it. Unless all the weird Kroger having a bigger presence at Fred Meyer thing screws it up. Sometimes it is also for sale the week of Thanksgiving, but it is usually this coming sale cycle like clockwork. At least in Washington. I can't imagine it would be different for Oregon.

I loved Fred Meyer! Oregon is expensive but my area is higher because they have to truck it here over a mountain pass 3-4 hours. In the winter all the prices go up. Been like that my whole life here.

I'd love to see the cooking video. Could you show how you make the lunch meat??? I love deli meat, but it is loaded with sodium, and with my heart failure, I have to keep my sodium lower. I don't add salt to anything, I don't even own it, but my issue is all the sodium that is in the processed food. Happy holidays!

For Christmas we get ham, but since it’s just me and my husband we get one of those quarter hams that are kind of precooked and sliced and I just add stuff to it. Think it’s costs under $10
