(we May try and control some reactions, but they will forever be present in ourselves) So the movie portraits a couple, they are not good for each other, not compatible, and controling... But showing such an impossible ending, and saying it is romantic. It is dangerous to promote such things, people normalize abuse, physical, verbal, control, jealousy... People in relationships like that suffer A LOT. And they don't show you that. Whenever I hear Kim Basinger’s character say the words “I’ve been there, nothing lasts …. Nothing.” I know she’s playing the villain in this film, but I can’t help but think of her previous roles, and particularly of Tim Burton’s “Batman” from 1989. Such a very different role. Part of the danger of this villain Elena, is she uses an sizable dose of truth in her lies. The truth is like a pleasant drink that is then laced with arsenic which is like the lies.

The only thing good about this Fifty Shades Of Grey series was they got the girl right Anna Steele but not the guy he was all wrong for the movie. The soundtracks were worth getting. People need to understand the author based this on Twilight Fiction and EL James finally is done with Fifty Shades Of Grey her last book is Freed from Christan's POV. It took the author forever to finish the whole trilogy. Freed comes out on June 1 2021. In case anyone is wondering.
