Congrats on new grandchild - and welcome to Italy! I live near Lago di Garda, and when I moved here I was so happy to discover that knitting is popular among a lot of people here as well (even though my husband told me I'd never find anyone here who knitted, but he was wrong!)

@@beatricet7396 I don't know exactly where you are, but if you are not TOO far from Molina, then Lana al Pascolo is doing a "knit-in-public"-event there on Saturday. I can't go this time, but I wish I could!

So enjoyed your episode. I was wondering about the hat “ in red” -- is this a custom for / from Brazil? Or South America in general? I was trying to research the meaning of a red hat for baby and could not locate any information. Very interesting.... as well I would love to know as our Daughter is expecting the first baby with her Colombian partner. I am knitting the blanket and would do a hat as well... and of course I already have a baby sweater ready, but just curious. Congratulations on your new family member.

I love your half and half wrap! Did you order the purl soho yarn directly in the USA? Is there a shop in Europe?

I don't think you can get it in EU, unfortunately. I bought it while in the US, but I do think they ship to Europe - taxes are probably going to be a killer though...
