Size does make a difference. Minsk team men looked like me at 88kg 190cm... and then you ve got 100kg+ opposite team. I mean with some VERY good strategy and dodging, taking it in the long run you might have a standing chance (Adesanya vs Romero in mma). But going head on, adrenaline rush, thinking you can outwrestle 20kg+ MMA trained dude with your boxing skills is suicide. I fel like watching a me vs club bouncer clip. Props to both teams though, respect from Romania!

Ok, this idea of team fighting seems pretty cool. But when they allow punches to the back of the head, knees to the face, and other fighters are allowed to full-on kick a guy who's down wrestling with another fighter seems extremely dangerous and stupid. There are reasons these types of things aren't allowed in sanctioned fighting leagues in the US. I understand it's fighting, and it's inherently dangerous, but you can severely injury or even kill somebody with those types of actions. Don't the fighters want to be able to survive to fight another day and earn another paycheck?

I like the idea of team fighting. However, it seems like when the a team looses a man the fight is pretty much over. They need to at least reset the teams when a team looses a member to give the hurting team a chance to regroup and re plan.

Or the winning team should choose one of them to leave the ring. They would choose the weakest and/or most exhausted one, but still, the numbers would stay even. And they'd have scored a point. But the other team retains a practical chance of fighting back. Some back and forth is even possible. And at the end, it may be down to just two guys against eachother. That could be more interesting, because as you noticed, it quickly goes downhill once the first guy gets out and the weakened team is outnumbered.

Do you really believe that the were only stand-up fighters ?:)))))) Even MMA stars title themselves as a "wrestler", "bjj experts" you can read this on sherdog :) But when it comes to training they all train EVERY single aspect of the fight. These guys would have lost their mind if they had put a guy with a pure boxing background without a practice on the ground to the fight like this. That's the only aspect. I wonder if it would be better to keep the "fair fight" aspect if they were to have everyone go individual if you submit, tko, ko whatever your man that you should wait till everyone has done the same, not jump on to the next guy and engage but only when they become individuals so every fight is a 1 on 1. So for example a 5v1 one person will go up against the one then the next if he 1 wins, so in the sense if the 1 can take out each one of the five at a time the team still has a chance to win
