@@wolfamri But I have one doubt, sir. Why do we need to enable the manual focus on, when already we have done autofocus?
@wolfamri4 жыл бұрын
You lock the focus. That way the cam doesn’t have to focus again, once the lights go out. Does that make sense?
@cauger614 жыл бұрын
@@wolfamri Pls don't take otherwise. My doubt was, can we make that shot by autofocusing when the lights are on? Because, once the focus is locked, will there be any difficulty for the camera to focus further in the darkness. My apology for being silly!!

No worries! Some cameras have focus aid light. They would focus OK usually. But the best is always to focus in good lighting, unless the distance between camera and subject changes.

@wolfamri4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, Monika! Yes, the better the lens, the better the results. But with the longer focal length, you’ll need a bigger f-number to get the same depth of focus. Easy to do, just don’t forget to compensate for the loss of light with a longer shutter speed. Liebe Grüße zurück 😉 und danke für die Subscription 🙏

It is inspiring, but the mobile camera's photo of the apple looked better. Why it was so, kindly say. Anxiously waiting for the answer.
@wolfamri Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It is very likely because the smartphone has a bigger depth of focus due to the smaller sensor size. Beside that, it probably did a lot of in-camera retouching that boosted contrast and saturation. I personally liked the smartphone pic better too ;).

Sorry, I missed that. I don´t really use it. I have used it for a while for studio work, but I feel switching MF/AF on is more suitable for me in the rare case I want a fixed focus. Other than that I think that some people have issues half pressing the shutter (for example if you have big hands). Then BBF does make sense. But I don´t want to judge. If people try it, and like it, it´s just perfect.

Try manual focus if auto doesn’t work. Or set up a placeholder at the position of the smoke, turn on the lights, focus on the placeholder. Afterwards set the cam to manual focus, turn off the lights, remove the camera placeholder and start shooting. Some will definitely be out of focus, but others will be well focused😉.

We need to get you there 😉. Do you by chance have the image stabilizer turned on? If yes, turn it off. What could also cause motion blur is when the floor isn’t all that solid. Because you move and that could shake the tripod.

There are a few things you can do, Consuela: first, tilt your camera down ir raise your cell phone to not have ut in the frame. Second: check that tge brightness of the smartphone screen is set to maximum. If that doesn’t help, choose a longer shutter speed. Let me know if that helped.
@wolfamri4 жыл бұрын
And check this video of our photography course to understand why a longer shutter speed will make the image brighter. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/roaTopJ-ndFghKM
