Been looking through the comments and couldn't find anyone acknowledging how great of a guy Sean is. After all, he supported Hailey when she ran after Jake while the others just watched her. Even after Jake said all the stuff on the recording. Although season 1 has ended and this was the finale, it still gives Sean some really good character development.

My favourite thing about this me was when Jake passed at Hailey at 1:07 . It mostly resembles Ep. 9, when Hailey passed Jake after she listened to the audio. I think it really showed their dynamic and emotion greatly, which led to me thinking that Rosy is really great at thinking for what to put on her stories. It really has improved a lot, and I’m really glad!

Fight for me is a powerful and emotional song and I have zero clue how rosy found such an amazing song for this scene that PERFECTLY matched with the storyline. During the premiere, I got really emotional when watching this song play out. Especially during the part where Jake said, “I wasn’t always the bad guy,” cause it’s true! In ep 2, he got the club to grt more fans, in ep 3, he helped milly so she wouldn’t get expelled, in ep 4, he helped luke with his love troubles, causing lander to happen in ep 5, in ep 6 he offered to give sean a new laptop for free without sean even having to ask, in ep 8, he helped Hailey with her stage fright, and in ep 11, he helps hailey w/ her stage fright again and helps the club perform. He did more than make up for everything, so he very clearly is not a bad guy.

I honestly feel like hayley cared about jake more than anyone. Before she knew about his passion, she still always went red when Jake flirted with her.Obviously it might have been out of embarrassment but still makes no sense. After she heard him sing, she saw something in him which made her. Let him join the club as they got closer. She started to really think how he is a good person. She realized he went through the same thing that she did, except he doesn't have stage fright. He was just bullied and she was scared. So they knew each other's feelings. This song proves that she never wanted to kick him out. She just was hurt and when she thought of the memories. She really, really cared about him and made amends to forgive. I shipped these 2 so much and I was so happy when they made up. The hug got me like ugh so cute.

Somebody else mentioned how Daisy had said “fight for what’s precious to you!!”. In the beginning of the song, Jake is asking Hailey to fight for him. Hoping there could be a slight chance that he still mattered to her. Then it shifts into a beg because Drew isn’t willing to fight for him. So Hailey is conflicted with herself because deep down she wants to fight for him but is scared to. She says “I don’t have no armor left to fight for your existence”. She’s been hurt to many times to protect herself from betrayal. But she lets herself fight for Jake, at least one last time. He’s precious to her. They repeat back and forth to each other, asking “would you fight for me?”. They want to fight for each other but they need to know whether or not that feeling is mutual and if they really are ready to heal the scars that have been left.
