Ciryl Gane (born 12 April 1990) is a French professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. I think what makes Jon Jones superior to all his opponents is his fight IQ. And I have to admit that Gane has an advantage on his opponents only because he's so fast for this weight division. I'm rooting for Gane. But when it comes to Jones, it's something different. Gane : speed Jones : brain Ngannou : strength Like in a video game. What a time to be alive :)

Getting to the proper heavier weight was an easy thing to do for Jones, he has also had a lot of time to adjust to it. I don't think ring rust will be that big of factor, gane is good but c'mon man.

Je crois tout simplement que si Cyrille n'améliore pas sa défense au niveau du sol, il n'a aucune chance. C'est facile de faire tomber Cyrille, c'est sa seule faiblesse à mon avis vis-à-vis de Jones. Par ailleurs, ils ont le même système de lutte: taille, pieds, coude, déplacement, identique. Gane va désavantagé si il n'évite pas de tomber.

Great Video! If Jon Jones beats Gane and tested clean he will erase all doubts about his PED history. But I do expect Gane to finish Jones in 3 rounds. I do not think Jones’ past 3 performances were due to lack of motivation. I think competition has caught up to him and also the lack of PED. He’s now also older coming back after 3 years absence. He will be a Lot slower and will no longer enjoy the size advantage. In fact, he will be at the physical disadvantage for the first time in his pro fighting career. Can’t wait….

Cyril has some great power, and striking. Jones has good power, and better technical ability. He is better at combining and transitioning through the striking ranges. Jones cardio will be an advantage in my opinion.
