I didn’t even know Satchel was in that band until about 3 years ago! 😄 ( but he just went by Russ Parish at the time I think and I’d never heard of him yet , but the first time I heard “ Fight “ I definitely do remember thinking who in the hell is this guitarist? He’s Fk’n Awesome! 😮Dude absolutely Rips! 🎸🤘🏻( they both do ! The entire band is kick ass all around ) And is by far one of the funniest guys on the planet in the metal world ! 🤭 I wish they would have put out a couple more albums before Rob went back to Judas Priest. I even really liked all the “Halford” solo albums as well lots of great tracks those albums too!
@andrewpardue332425 күн бұрын
I would absolutely love to see a Fight reunion and new album tour in the future just for the hell of it! 🤘🏻and to hear Satchel shred like a hardcore maniac again! Damn he can play ! 😮 right up there with all the best guys ever really… the solo in this track with the other guitarist ( who’s also damn great in his own right) proves that! Killer switching back and forth here! We played the absolute shit outa this album when was released ! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻it was new and even heavier than JP at the time… and All the metalheads loved it where I lived.

I’m gonna have to go with Black Sabbath 1st myself ( Just my Opinion ) and then Judas Priest and then Ozzy solo. I do however think that Rob Halford definitely is the most incredible metal singer ever though, yeah even better than Ozzy in the range department there’s really no one exactly like him ( except possibly King Diamond at times, man has that guy got crazy range as well! 😮 and of course Tim “ Ripper” Owens , they’re both awesome as well in their own right, I might have to put Geoff Tate in there as well but Rob was definitely the first that just goes without saying. ) Ozzy’s voice is just so unique that nobody else will and can ever really sound like he does. Closest i think I’ve ever heard is probably Zakk Wylde on some of the BLS tracks, but it’s only at certain times for a second or 2 and ( many people probably don’t even notice it at all, I didn’t for quite a while really ) Zakk’s voice is naturally at least an octave lower than Ozzy and a lot more gravel sound in it ! 😄
@amerigo-p710925 күн бұрын
@andrewpardue3324 i saw zakk wilde playing with Pantera and without him that tour didn't have a reason to exist Zeppelin,Sabbath and Purple invented metal..of course is not the metal we know but they put the roots of a new way to play music Judas Priest develloped this Without Halford many singers of todoy would not be singers Tim Ripper Owens is amazing I have tto complain only one him He has an amazing voice i would like to see him with his own music and stopping living in the shade of priest That's for him Sermons of the sinner is really great but if you hear a kk priest's show at 80% it's all judas priest stuff
@andrewpardue332425 күн бұрын
@@amerigo-p7109 I definitely agree with that no doubt there. The KK’s Priest stuff which I actually like a lot and kind of expected it to be like that. Didn’t Tim sing for Iced Earth before JP ? Apart from the standout tracks in Fight, I think the Fight and Ripper-era stuff sounded similar. 90s metal... I've always liked 'Jugulator' over 'Demolition'. I've always wanted to hear Rob sing 'Cathedral Spires' or 'Bullet Train'.

What? Ripper was awsome and still kept the priest vibe while still being distinct. Priest isn't Halford or Owens it's Tipton and Dowing.
@ГеоргиКацаров-р1б5 жыл бұрын
Owens is talented singer, comparable to the the metal God himself. But his stage presence was poor, and unfortunately he had to pay the price for Tipton and Downing decisions on Jugulator and Demolition. Otherwise that are two good albums, with really strong tracks. Also Tim can perform live the end of Victim of Changes twice longer than Halford, with excellent vibrato.
