Definitely not luck, but that said in both this and the Conlan fight as examples, he was pretty much being outboxed all the way through and then..... launched a fist at the point he would have probably been stopped or stopped by the ref or corner and banjaxed both guys. Those punches were almost his last ounce of energy he had to try and protect himself and threw them, particularly the Conlan fight. Ben said the game plan was to keep the chin down and work the jab. I feel like that first part isn't paid any notice. 😂

​Curmel Moton (who I'm NOT a fan of) has only ONE professional fight in his young career, and he would beat both these guys and Michael Conlan. That's why Wood did not accept Mayweather's offer to fight Curmel Moton. Can you imagine if Curmel with only 1 professional fight, beats them? It would embarrass all of U.K. boxing for years, with only Tyson Fury to hold their honor. Think about it lads, why didn't Mayweather want Curmel to fight one of the Mexican champions in that division or the Cuban champion there too? It's the stereotypical "European Bum" which many people believe that they are not the best fighters in the world and are easier opponents to take advantage of. Unfortunately I HATE to admit it, but in this case I have to agree with Floyd, Curmel Moton would defeat all the U.K. 126lbs and 130lbs fighters. This is NO insult to U.K. and European fighters but it is what it is. Imagine Curmel Moton beating all the U.K. fighters at those weight classes, it would be a MAJOR embarrassment for English boxing for years to come, and will further feed the negative stereotype that European boxers are so called "Euro bums." I'm glad Wood or Warrington DIDN't accept the fight vs Curmel Moton.
