I am so glad you were able to borrow a good car. Good things happen for you because you are good people. Please do not read the negative comments. You had car trouble. That is a fact. You are certainly not to blame. Read the positive comments and just delete the rest. These mean people do not deserve your attention. I am looking forward to the next video. Thanks from Canada. ❤

It's very hard renovating here in Bulgaria. Just keep going . But unfortunately there are more unfriendly British out here than friendly. You are doing a great job.

In Bulgaria, we have this plant джоджен (Spearmint) which on the surface looks like mint but is used for different things. I think the best example to get an idea of their differences is with tea. If you have constipation - make mint tea. But if you have diarrhea - tea from джоджен. It is important not to confuse them, because if a person has diarrhea and drinks mint tea, the situation becomes really difficult. Also, we Bulgarians put джоджен in boiled beans, lentils and even in meatballs. So if you can tell them apart I highly recommend drying large quantities of the spice for the winter because it is very useful. Also, village life is not easy and has a different pace than city life. My grandmother in the village would wake up at 6 a.m. to take care of the chickens, water the tomatoes, weed the peppers and onions, cook, and at 12 p.m. she would stop until 4 p.m. and would sleep or watch TV because it was very warm. And then she would do some work at home, in the garden, or see neighbors.

Well, don't pay attention to negative comments. We all have had broken cars. It happens. Really. Not everybody can buy a new car. Our car also broke down on the motorway between Sofia and Bourgas 3 days ago in the 35 degree heat. We also have 2 girls. But good people helped us out.

Hi folks, it's your life, don't worry about anything else, you are on an open forum, sometimes comments will be negative and that is probably a reflection of everyday life. But 99% are good, people want you do well, be happy, continue to share your story. Some may not think you are not doing it right, and that is okay too, but do you, make your choice, and stick by it. Some days will be a slog, some will be sad and emotional, but in the main, they will be great. Look how far you've come. Cream always rises to the top.

People can be so amazing and generous - how lovely to meet your Bulgarian neighbours and be made to feel so welcome, and also to be loaned Dory, she's a lovely colour! I bet it didn't take long to get used to the left hand driving and it is easier once used to, though the gears may have been another matter lol. Enjoy being mobile again. Lynne and Adam (Our Little BG Adventure) were one of the 1st ones that got us moving back to Bulgaria so totally understand your appreciation of them.

LOL! Anthony, you're a BEAST! No worries about making a mistake with the vehicle. Ignore the comments. I purchased a lemon once, too, and my (cruel) parents thought it was hilarious that it turned out to be a lemon. Was financed by a reputable lender, but the dealer was the fraud. Even though I had a full warranty on it as per the lender, they never honored it and replaced the vehicle. GRRR. It happens, and you live and learn. You'll find a good vehicle, no worries. Just hang in there.

what a conclusion - "Nothing but small minded keyboard warriors"!! I know a lot of people of different nationalities who had the courage to do the same and more, and when they have hard times they don't film themselves crying and don't beg to give them money just because they are good people. They just go and sort things out whatever it takes. So if they feel like leaving some negative comments I can understand it. I had respect for this family, but not anymore....

Hello! For garden tool bulgarians use a hoe. But not this wich you know in England. It is a different, more practical and productive for big gardens. It is call МОТИКА. This is the most useful tool in the bulgarians garden. If you haven't in the house, you can check in the gardens tools shop. 😊

Please don’t let the comments get to you and especially don’t give them a voice. Starting a video on a big negative nearly made me click off. I understand that, I do. But we aren't a TV show, this is our real life. We've been struggling so heavily with it and so it was important for us to acknowledge. 8:20 that is a roof rack, you're right. theold commie Lada and Moskvich had a window trim that was like a canal, where those little "feet" you're describing sat. its missing the clamping plates, which bolt on in the holes and clamped the "feet" in. i hope u can envision my explanation, modern cars dont have that kind of "window" trim. maybe old uk cars from the 60-70 also had that kind of trim, but these days this rack is useless, unless you rework the way it mounts on modern day roof rails.
