Whenever you do the pyramid type of builds on the atlas, I find it good to fill those corners with walls and the inside floors as barriers as extra defense Also, built a wall of defense around the outside as well You can say its overbuilding, but just you wait til smashers come around.... it helps slow them down when you don't have tar pits laying around

I love the Blastotron 9000 Defender concept, I am always looking for something new to try. Kudos to however discovered it! I don't even have B9000 leveled up. Although I still like saving Energy cells with the Obliterator, though.

I place traps that are knowingly potentially not needed. Many times I have been happy to have the extra damage in case something blows up or gets further than expected

Obliterator has the same pierce level as the Xenon if I'm remembering correctly. It just does more damage to structures as a trait. If I'm wrong... then I'm wrong I guess
