Bruce Lee wanna b bounced back with a nice hit and then just gets swept! Had me dying😂😂

I noticed another difference between full-contact fighters and traditional fighters with no actual sparring experience: the experienced ones let them hit to study their opponent, then they fight back knowing every single movement of them.

SORT OF. We defend at first. We watch. Then we use what we learned. But really we are just defending and watching. The striking happens on its own.

@@eddiehazard3340 Basically, what every fighter should do, but many traditional have forgot it.

Oh! My latvian gambit friend! Im going to learn the Chigorin soon btw! It’s an offbeat way to take on the queen’s gambit!
@greencoffee55103 күн бұрын
@@FightCommentarythat would be where our shared knowlege diverges, I've never studied any queen's gambit positions because I never enter it as either side. good luck, though!

Yeah. Totally. I was planning on just playing kings indian as black when encountering d4 openings. But i just cant seem to grasp the nuances of kings Indian defense, so im back to trying to find offbeat ways to fight the queen’s gambit. Recently ive had too much fun with e4 openings again.

Have you seen the new Dirty Boxing Championship? All upper body striking, small gloves,ground and pound but not grappling or kicking whatsoever. All types of punches,elbows,palms and forearms. Seems perfect for seeing more TCMA,trapping ,pushing and fast clinching.

YeH. Definitely will cover them soon!

Superman Boxing! Does anyone get distracted by the yellow short guy at the back between 3:08 and 4:26?

Hey, fight commentary breakdowns, i just wanted to know. If I am practicing traditional martial arts and want to make them effective in a real fight, do you have any tips on how I should go about it.
@gavinlee61962 күн бұрын
@oghaengseong spar, there's literally no short cut. Really just have to have enough sparring time. Doesn't have to be as hard as they went in the video but really get some time in against someone skilled. If u don't pressure test you will never really know what works and what doesn't

Someone who's watched Bruce Lee movies or read books isn't a jkd guy. It takes actual practice and instruction from actually certified teachers to do jkd.

I think the right terms for these guys who *claim* to be of a certain style but can't do it, would be LARPer or cosplayer

Russian guy's legs were too slim. The guy skipped leg day too often...

maybe the guy is not disrespecting him. Maybe this is supposed to be a lesson.

I don't know what happened backstage, but thai boxer behaved extremely disrespectful. Maybe jkd jui did something beforehand and thai in his right, but on video it looks so unjust

That last dude has been in sooo many videos & literally 99% of them he's always gotten whooped. He's only beaten one guy who was another horrible fake kungfu guy. He needs to stay painting nails & stop all this fighting/impersonating. He doesn't look anything like Bruce plus he's never actually studied JKD he's just a fan of Bruce.
@FightCommentary3 күн бұрын
Yep. Im sure he makes good money but is it worth his pride and getting beat up so much?
