Agreed. Few months ago when I was at the beach near Pensacola and Destin Florida, there were fighters coming in and out of the Air Force base. We were on a snorkeling trip and there was a squadron of F-35’s doing constant low passes. However, what really caught my eye was about an hour later at our last dive spot, I was underwater when I suddenly heard a low tumble. Came up out of the water and there was 2 F-15’s that had just taken off in full afterburner soaring just 200-300 feet overhead. I’m telling you when you experience something like that, it’s like never before.

F15s are absolutely unbelievable in person. They are thunderous. Absolutely just shake the ground and you can feel it in your chest. Overwhelming amount of sound. Something you have to experience in person to truly get an understanding of how powerful these aircraft are.
