Nice video buddy, I lived in the Butterworth base between 1986 to 1993, my dad was the CO of 1ADC (air defence). Great memories, bunch of Australians lived there too. I think they demolished those old officers quarters.. your video brought back some views of the base I've never seen b4

That's what they are there for. Otherwise you'd have to push on the rudder pedals or smash a bunch of buttons/dials/switches with your hands trying to adjust yourself in the seat...
