What about Canelo vs Bivol?! Like hell if Bivol was an underdog. I know Canelo had recently beat Kovalev, but Kovalev was old. Bivol is a much bigger (than Canelo) man just coming into his prime. Canelo was reaching and by no way expected to win.
@seablock18 күн бұрын
@@Buck31515 Canelo was expected to win so much so, that he was a big favourite. All the so called "Experts" claimed it would be routine for Square Head. Problem was, Bivol wasn't inactive, drained, and had a full camp, which Canelo wasn't used to. Canelo always makes sure his opponents are disadvantaged before getting into the ring with them. Not this time so he lost big.

That 90s gen of boxers were lucky they only faced an old and slow George Foreman. The one the Ali, Frazier , Norton etc faced would have gone unbeaten against anyone in the late 80s and 90s .

@@omariblake21 Foreman is an unskilled fighter who comes forward with zero defence and swinging easy to read looping punches. Yet you think he goes undefeated against the likes of Lewis, Holyfield, Ibeabuchi etc etc? Yeah, it's not happening. Lewis is a vastly superior fighter in every way. Foreman is a style made for him. Ali beating Liston was the greatest upset In the history of boxing and maybe sports history. Liston was so overwhelming favorite that the bookies thought Ali would be lucky to last 2 rounds and Liston had never gone 3 rounds . Ali not only won but completely outclassed Liston in such a one side fight that Liston quit !😹

@@omariblake21 You may be right. Nobody gave Ali a chance against Liston. But Foreman had knocked out Joe Frazier and Kenny Norton two guys that beat Ali. Honstly, i don't think so. Sugar Ray won that fight. What i find highly suspicious is how things always seemed to work out in Ray's favour. The two most vicious and brutal fighters, Duran and Hagler, COMPLETELY changing their style for the fight with Ray. Hagler just took blows in that fight, as if to prove Leonard couldnt hurt him. But Ray was never considered a big puncher. Something smells about both of those fights. And then as soon as Hearns became the first man to hold four titles, all of a sudden the fight between Leslie Stewart and Don Lalonde became for two titles instead if one. Of course, the winner would face Ray, so when HE won, he got five titles.
