Stipe has literally been the underdog in every single fight while also having the most defenses at HW over anyone. Jones will show up roided to the max againt a 42 year old Stipe. Hope Stipe wins

I think Stipe is a bad matchup for Jon Jones. He's like a better Reyes. Jon Jones's weakness has always been long boxers with takedown defense. I think of guys like Gusstaffson and Reyes, who performed well against Jon Jones. I don't know if Stipe is better than Gus or Reyes but if he is, he should win this fight.

@ScrapAndRollMMA yea the more I think about it the more I think Stipe gets it done. The rust won't be an issue because Jones doesn't have KO power, and defending takedowns is more experience based and Stipe always in the gym. Only thing that worries me is Blaydes saying he's heard Stipe walking with a limp and looks smaller..but then Bisping comes back and says he's a ripped in shape 250lbs...well find out weighin day I guess

DC could not have beaten stipe at his best. He won the first fight because of the eyepokes and stipe was not healed properly from ngannou fight. Its not like dc was beaten by a spring chicken. Stipe was 38.

DC talks all for himself that’s y people hated him in past , he still hasn’t changed.. even stipe was not at his best when he fought dc for the 1st time , he didn’t take dc quite seriously and fought soon after Francis fight .. when dc already lost to stipe 2 times in a row now he shouldn’t be talking that stipe wouldn’t have won him if he was this n that bla bla .. when you lost admit it and give respect to the man .. he is such a jerk..that y most people hated him in the past

I use to be a huge Jon supporter for all of his career until now, until now I see how much of a bs'er he is, and overall he doesn't seem to be a good person.... He's obviously all time great, but to me, he's still basically unproven at HW, and the one fight he had, was stylistically the best matchup for him.... Think about this, he still HASN'T taken a strike from a HW in a fight yet...... Now I knowwww Stipe is well past his prime, but I still want to see how Jon reacts to getting hit from a legit HW.. If Stipe can show ANY TYPE of takedown defense, like he was able to do in his prime.... Things could get very interesting !!! I'll go with the upset! O-H!!!! 😉 😊

So Jon is a 6 to 1 favorite to win, and I am pretty sure every person in this video picked Jon? It's too bad that this fight didn't happen when Stipe was in his prime. I'm picking Stipe to win. Stipe is an angry man. People just don't seem to understand how angry he is. His anger is on the level of Jon's psychopathic narcissism. Both of them have demons. Stipe is more angry, because everyone thinks he's going to lose. He wins with his boxing and wrestling defense.

I love these videos showing Jones using terrible form using too much weight and swinging it around, clearly because he is not strong enough to handle it correctly, what a joke. Gustafson and Reyes clearly beat Jones, who has not been as dominant as they say. Jones has those skinny legs though, LOL. Stipe like girls and Jones likes boys. Jones has never been hit as hard as Stipe will hit him, this is Jones 2nd fight at heavyweight. He took the easy win over a non wrestler with Gane and has done absolutely nothing else ever at heavyweight. All he does is post videos with bad form doing like half range of motion squats, not even heavy hammer curls cheating and using his shoulders. Dude can't even fake being an athlete very well.

Stipe's got power in his hands, every heavyweight does. But Stipe just doesn't have the stopping power in his punches that'll put Jones on the brakes. Jon Jones 2nd round TKO. Whenever I look at a Stipe camp, its just average asf.. he's just getting in to fight champ, sharpen his hands a little bit and that's it. He's too vanilla. Jon Jones is training every aspect and getting into even better shape.

Jones has had a total of one fight in the last 4.5 years and a total of one heavyweight fight in his career. He won that fight largely because his opponent had almost zero wrestling experience. Jones may win at 309, but there's not as much predictive evidence as many people seem to think. If Jones does win, it will probably come down to him being the quicker guy. Stipe obviously has enough power to KO Jones.

Jones and Miocic have had 2 fights over 7 years combined. It's irrelevant. You want to be the man at HW then fight Aspinall. JJ is a legend but not the goat. Put GSP, BJ Penn and Fedor on PEDs and they'd be undefeated too.

Isn't Stipe 42yrd old? Jones trying to draft off Stipe's HW GOAT status is so pathetic-c'mon, 42 yrs old and a firefighter-which means old and beat up. Hasn't fought in 3-4 yrs? The most telling review is by DC, and I couldn't agree more. DC was clearly the more dominant, athletic fighter between him and Stipe. Not the case with Jones. Jon is going to wipe the floor with Stipe.
