I remember watching that Bowe-Golota fight live when I was a kid. Even then, what it looked to me was Golota was probably paid to take a L and chose to get disqualified rather than lose a decision or KO, Bowe was 2 steps behind the whole fight. Its hard to say, in Poland we love Gołota for what he have done for fighting sports in Poland. He was fast, powerfull and had great power but he was like kid traped in an adult body. U can see hem getting frustrated easly during the fights and i think that that's why he was aiming for the balls.

I don't think that it was intentional though. I remembered seeing him attempt to engage, but Lopez punished him for it and was more willing to exchange. Which makes sense considering he's the larger fighter with more K.O. power. Loma would enter, Lopez would step left cut him off and send his right into Loma's body. I love Loma but Lopez fought the perfect fight against him.
