Normally, for a rematch to have sense after such a one sided beating, the loser needs to show if he can be better and it will take time. We waited for 5 years and a half for the first fight, so we are able to wait for another 18 months or so, if it's still relevant at that point.

Crawford has the ability to take on multiple forms. A switch hitter that is great in both stances. Precise timing on counters. A jab that is sharp and powerful. The keen ability to create distance. The cerebral aptitude to "download data", analyze it and use it against his opponents. Multifaceted combinations from different angles. Strength, power, agility, mechanics and IQ all wrapped in one. Crawford is truly one of one.

I love what hunter said. Your only fighting for 36 minutes so why grind for 2 hours. People that study and love mma think thats why George st. Pierre was so good because he knew he was going to fight for 25 minutes so he went as hard as he could for 25 minutes and that was that. Look at how great andre ward was and his stamina.

Not exactly. Virgil said rest was important. You can grind 2 hours but you need to rest on a few days.

I think it's the American 'go hard or go home' mentality. They go hard all through training camp. Best way is to increase the intensity gradually as you get close to fight night, then rest more. Also, staying in shape year round helps a lot

@@KnockoutInvestingwhich is why it’s best to grind for 40mins, but constantly and consistently. Than long ass sessions which only make it harder to recover and increase risk of injury.

He's a monster. I told Spence fans man. He's a LEGIT wrestler and grappler. Dude is strong af. And hits like a train. I told them he'd push Spence across the ring in tbe first clench, and Spence would be shocked. And he was. And Crawfords vision is ridiculous. As is his natural ability to fight. Just react

Thx Vergil.. I feel the same, I was in a car wreck and a head injury. Exercise is excellent for healing, but any blows to the head is deadly. My doctor informed me year's ago, any blows to my head could be dangerous. This was 35+ years ago and I still have issues getting light headed, and need to sit down; EJ gambles with his life every time he steps in the ring. Excellent advice!!!

Now people can see why Andre went so far. Imagine spending majority of your life around Virgil. That wisdom and knowledge will rub off you. A lot of these trainers are compassionate about these fighters because they’ve seen them as amateurs who climbed up the ranks. I’ve personally never met Spence in my life but I felt bad for him. Never in a million years did I think the fight would play out like that. Bud never took a breath it was that easy. It was a lot of firsts for Spence and none in his favor

I completely agree about the resting. It is one of the most important things in any kind of training. As a guy who works with weights and calisthenics etc in the gym I used to overtrain 6 days a week 2 hours a day hard and I would always be sore and didn’t make the gains I should have. Once I got down to a low body fat and was ripped and in shape I would train like 3 days a week for an hour and then stretch for like 20 minutes and would rest and eat clean 4 days out of the week and I saw a huge improvement in my performance and my results. It blew my mind. But sometimes less is more. And it’s hard to do cause you wanna grind and go hard
