I’ve seen an interview with Mike where he says as soon as he enters the ring a switch in his brain turns him into something else he struggles to control. That and his honed muscle memory and now his desire to get into great shape - is a truly devastating prospect for anyone facing him

​@@wazittuyoo2147just for the record while yes Mike took it too far by biting Evander's ear off, it's pretty common knowledge among boxers at the time he holyfield was a dirty fighter he constantly headbutted his opponents which is why after the fight mike said "look at me how am I gonna face my kids". Not just Mike but another world champ can attest to this is George Foreman. So yeah Mike took it too far but holyfield was far from innocent.

I'd like to see him in a real sparring match with a 20 something year old guy.. It's funny how you don't see much of that in his training videos.. Just saying, hitting the focus mitts and actually boxing with an opponent are worlds apart.. I think there is a reason they don't show that..

Paul won against Diaz, Silva and Woodley which were in much better shape than a off the couch 57 years old Tyson. Jake Paul will flat line ko Mike, you can't beat age, right now Jake Paul is a overall better boxer than Tyson. Tyson would still obliterate the average 20ys old but not a young professional boxer.

I'm the same age. I started muay thai January 23. I since go three times a week and do weights. I believe younger me would have a lot more muscle thru this but for age, I'm doin amazing to when started.Thinking of having trt to counter age. My body feels a lot younger thru exercise. I work too, but my son drags me to MT when feeling tired, and it actually gives me more energy? Get rid of beer n bread mate. Protein and fibre with good fats. Hit heavy weights and walk a lot. You'll feel amazing. Push yourself.

Great Brazilian trainer Rafael Cordeiro, he was the trainer of the great MMA champions such as Maurício Shogun, Wanderlei Silva and Anderson Silva, and he was also a champion as a Muay Thai fighter, it's no wonder Tyson chose him!!!

I'm 56, and I've been in the boxing gym for 40 years. I can still train 10-12 3 minute rounds, still in shape and still fast and powerful. Sometimes I'll spar guys half my age. They have smirks on their faces, that soon fade after the first round. I'll be in the gym when Im 80. It keeps my heart and lungs young. Mike is definitely one of my training inspirations.

Same I'm 53 but i don't feel it's "old" infact for me it's middle age. I can still do alot of what i could in my 30s, you just gotta keep active, age is just a number and also a mindset not to thing "oh I'm too old"..

I’m with you guys! I just turned 65, yet feel like I’m in my 30’s. TRT is a real thing, as is working out 3-5 days per week. Besides weight training I go between 75K to 100k steps per week.

@@MrWingo Its done now, I just added 3 x3 minute rounds of shadow boxing, and whoa am I outta shape. Feel good though, worked up a bit of a sweat too. I will get back on my 30 pound dumbbells to my regimen too, I just found them underneath my bed looking for a roll a tape I dropped.
