Completely missed the POINT!!! That’s the problem with speakers nowadays!!! Muslims in the uk are knee deep in mortgages, insurances and student loans… and he this subject only 5 minutes towards the END!!!! Ridiculous

Asalaamualaykum, I think you actually missed the point. Are you correct in that he only spoke about it for a short amount of time at the end. Definitely, however the buildup he did perfectly summarizes why riba is haram. If you understand the foundation you don't need anything else tbh. May Allah reward you for seeking beneficial knowledge and may he reward you with the best in this life and the hereafter. Ameen

Assalamualaikum brother. Firstly, I ask Allah to forgive me for my shortcomings in serving His cause and assisting the Muslim community. Sadly the time was not suitable for the topic at hand and from an andragogy perspective using the time to focus on the 'why' before the 'how' is considered the best approach. He specifically went over the topic for about 20min and still bargained for more time as he knew we would need it to comprehend. Riba is unfair, effortless(lazy) and corrupt.
