I went into Florida State prison on June 25th 2009 with less than 2 years left and I told myself I was guna die here or spend my life here for killing someone. And I was scared. When the first incident happen was about 4 hours later I was in my first fight. I made myself hit him first.

I was tripping out scared af, I was like "Uhhhh guys, I don't know where I am, my papers and box say Karl Holton but I am at Preston wtf is going on????" they said they didn't have space so now I went from supposed to be going to Karl Holton for a 6 month drug program, to now some random ass strange place with a 12 month drug program lol I get to mainline two weeks in and finally get to order canteen and somebody stole some shit from my locker when I went to visit because our lockers don't lock they no longer gave pad locks because they were weapons. So I come back from visit and go to my locker to change and notice some stuff missing. Right then this weenie type dude comes up to me and says "Hey bro I saw the guy take your stuff, but I can't so who because I don't want to get beat up!" So I said "Cool! The only thing is, if you don't tell me now that you involved yourself I am going to have to kick YOUR ass, assuming you may be a part of my shit missing!" He gets all scared and tell me who and I just made the decision to act like I don't know and the following morning I rushed that dude that actually took my stuff. I waited until one guard walked the school movement and it was one lady cop, and I just popped up on that fool and whooped his ass real quick and the lady hit the alarm it's like BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP I'm over molly whopping this dude all over the day room chairs flying around the lady is like "No! Guys, please stop!" 🤓 They waxed the day room the day before so one of my shoes flew off but me and this dude are still flying around beating the shit out of each other throwing each other on chairs lol All of a sudden the door flew open and a bunch of security flew in with pepper spray blasting us yelling "GET DOWN!!!" then they took us to lock up at this old crusty ass dungeon looking place name Tamarack and the dude I beat up went there first and so he was over there telling everybody he messed me up. Then i walked in and they asked if he really messed me up, and I said "Naw, I just beat that dude half to death over a Jolly Rancher Sucker and now he is going to get over here and lie on me!?" So I yelled out the tier to the dude I fought "Aye bro if you are going to lie to your homies to look cool, just know when we get back to the unit from lock up I am going to rush you AGAIN!" So he got all scared and said the truth and they all started laughing at him and banging on the doors and clowning how he got beat up by a crazy ass white boy over a lolly pop, because he was a dropout Crip trying to still be cool and when they heard he got beat up over a lolly pop the rumors flew all around the institution hahahaha All of a sudden everybody left me alone and when I got transferred to another unit all the other white boys were like "DAAAAMN bro I heard you mopped that fool all over the day room over a fuckin lolly pop! Dog you had us all going on lock down over some CANDY!!!!???" 🤣🤣 I don't say that to brag I say that to say that standing up for myself even over something as dumb as candy just let everybody in the institution know that if you mess around with me I will most likely stick up for myself because I was willing to fight over something so small, it wasn't about the candy, it was about letting them know if I was a LAME, or if I was going to stand up and fight back for myself. That guy I fought thought I was just going to let it ride and be bullied, but I let him and all the rest of the guys there with me know that even if I don't consider myself hard or gang bang I will still fight for what is mine and that will add time to both of our sentences, that is why they think you won't stand up for yourself because you just want to go home, but sometimes you have to show them you DO want to go home and you are willing to stand up to them to make sure that happens, even if you have to catch 90 more days you will throw down if you have to. To be honest I think that dude got bullied into trying to bully me but it back fired and it made him look bad and me look good and that whole stay for that guy was a nightmare, for me, nobody ever took anything from me again, and I made a few friends 😂

This video, IMO, is one of the most important and impactful ones. I believe if people see this and your other ones, and share them, that it is making a difference. As a 50 yr old white guy with 2 boys, 9 and 6, it made me think and appreciate my life and my responsibilities to them, to be a good role model and teach them the right way to live, to make good choices and not make any bad choices as they get older that could have them end up in prison. I got lucky, very lucky quite a few times that I never got caught doing dumb shit that very, very easily could have put me in prison or jail. The few times I did get in trouble, my family had the $$ to help me get a good lawyer and get off w probation and bullshit classes. Gratefully clean and sober for the last 15+ years now, living my best life being a dad, baseball coach, and enjoying the time with my boys and family !!! I never wanted to fight but I had too. I never let anyone punk me and I been against some big Boyz , they weren't the problem, it was smaller dudes that got me, in a fight. There's no rules to fighting,.... Chad I'm a lame now, but I rather be free, if I stayed on my same path I would have died by now.... I'm still good and live in it but I don't hang wit people anymore, I only hang out with good people who never been to prison or the county.. You can't jump in for someone that won't fight back, I learnt that early on but sometimes you can change someone who's quiets time just by talking to them and showing a bit of acceptance if you're in a position to, then you might be able to school him a little bit, once someone ends up on the outside they can go a bit wierd and a dude who was actually okay can never come back. But at the end of the day it's on each individual to use his brains, adapt and survive. It's a cold world but that's reality. I don't know why I'm opening my mouth but I hope the like and comment help the channel 👃

I was getting locked up since I was 12 but the worst thing was when I hit 21 and my local prison sent me to one of the worst prisons in England 🇬🇧 to get killed and I thought I was hard I seen a man kill a man first day I became something I couldn't switch off a animal caught 3 more charges

I disagree. I knew I would do whatever I would have to do to survive prison. Did I have to hurt some people? Of course, but the day I was sent to Cali prison for 12 years and I did 11½, I decided I would do whatever I had to do to make it home to my family.

Great video Chad. A man should always respect themselves and hold that respect in all scenarios. I teach my kids to try and avoid conflict, but if they can’t avoid it always stand up for themselves. You don’t have to be Animal Thug, but you also don’t have to be a sissy. It applies to all areas in life, not just physical violence too.

Nevet been in prison but did 3 weeks in jail. I got a loud annoying White dude i told him i needed to talk to him in a cell and he started yelling ,"get away from i dont want nothing to do with you!" As loud as he could and CO's came in to calm things down. My neighbor who i was up for attempted but a brother from the westside told me that he was yelling cuz he was scared and was low key telling. Idk but i was lucky people hit me with commissary before mine came on, that helped me out big time
