Fighting corrupt land officials - Min. Mayanja suspends Masaka Dzo, threatens lands office closure

Minister of State for Lands, Dr. Sam Mayanja, has suspended the principal assistant secretary of Masaka District Zonal Lands Office over allegations of corruption and double titling of land.
Minister Mayanja issued a warning, threatening to shut down the land office in Masaka town. He ordered the arrest of the LC3 chairman implicated in the scandal.
