Welcome to the latest instalment of our Fighting Fantasy Live Playthrough videos. In this video you will see our attempt at The House of Hell.
We are playing every Fighting Fantasy game book live on stream, once a month, in original publication order. Well... kinda - I may have accidentally lost a VoD or two on the way and Fighting Fantasy fans will notice that we've jumped again and missed Caverns of the Snow Witch. We did stream it, but I lost the back up :(

Sup Chris/ Andy… sooo yeah, remember this one for real… Relentless.. Took me a few attempts to get the best route and master it. This one doesn’t give you much room for mistakes. Pretty much get your pants pulled down and scared to death if you’re too curious. 😂 I’m hoping you stay away from the white wine and stick to your red wine like in real life 👍

Always red wine man, it's the best. I don't think we even came across the wine bit though? (Blocked the book from memory - PTSD LOL)

@@modxtraTFA Yeah, you did choose your red wine later on in the book as i was watching… it went wrong for you when you chose the wrong selection of foods/ drinks after that, which made you pass out therefore missing your initial encounter with the hunchback 👍

I've been playing this one and after countless tries, managed to complete it. Here's the thing: the optimum path is quite short, shortest of any FF book I've played but the game is in figuring out which locations you need and avoiding the rest to minimise fear points. There are also a few plot red herrings that end up racking up fear without helping you actually finish the game. I do rate this one but it will frustrate many.

We found it frustrating. We'll eventually get around to doing a replay of it, especially when some of the number books get increasingly difficult to acquire for the streams. We take your advice and run with it when the time comes ;)
