there is a bug with the church, where it will never be completed if certain other things are happening. someone does come and remove stone from the church and put it back into stores. Spiffing brit ran into it.

Watching Tom reduce the hunting limit… painful… so Tom… best gameplay on KZbin :-) It’s a realistic version of history, playing out before our eyes! The church demanding tithes and the lord demanding taxes even as people starve, while the people are derided as lazy slobs! :-)

I'm hoping the dev is in this chat but I'd play around with the idea of bandits being invisible in a region, instead of a highly visible tent on the world map. From watching this, bandits are trivial to confront and are just a pinata to pop before any rival lords get at them, even for Tom who put nearly zero money into his armies. Instead, you might get a notification that there are bandits in some region and then you have to trek your units through the woods until you get close enough to reveal them. Then it becomes a decision of "is it worth the time I'm going to be levying these units to rout these bandits?" or might even push you to invest in your retinue sooner so you can send them on these bandit hunts without having to levy militia.
