Crazy that Korean game was diamond 3. I was thinking high masters. Partly because of a really good move that neither of them noticed. In the final fight, just before the Neural on the Tanks ran out, he started having the tanks focus-fire each other down.

Honestly I don't think that game was high level at all. Both of them are banking 3k+ resources by 10 minutes. The terran researches neosteel instead of starting 2/2, so that should already indicate something lower than M1 or M2. The micro was honestly pretty basic too, besides queing up neural parasite.

Let me insert some real scientific results here. I played some games on NA by accident after my internet had died, got ranked and got to Dia2, some as EU, but the Tosses and the Zergs I played against before going to EU again seemed much more competent that those I meet on the same rank on EU. Probably coincidence but with my huge sample size of 5 games, NA Dia2 was much better than EU Dia2. They were also much more aggressive consistently suiciding for SCV kills with the scout, that fit well.

@round 5 he went ovie speed before speed probably, so he waited for queens to finish before spending the gas. Would explain why he had more than 100 gas and why he would not have speed on the way yet. (at least he had ovie speed with the first ling bane push). Also at the last push the terran has an insane bank but is 140/200 (before the zerg attacks), was a good sign.

Also worth noting I saw a spoiler in the comments so- as soon as Lowko said it's never bronze, I knew it was B1. I was looking at Silver 2 until I heard Lowko said it's never bronze 3rd Game: G2 I have 1 point And holy shit! This is the best I have ever gone in any series- bar that spoiler I read in the comments. 4th Game: D2. I have a friend who plays like that protoss and he's D1 on EU so I thought D2 on NA So now I have 3 points 5th Game: Grandmaster I honestly thought this guy was Grandmaster but- Holy crap... to be D3? I said this last time about one that the players got way wrong and it was pointed out to me that actually I misinterpreted things (missed that it was a baserace that time), but I think this was a more standard game so I'm going to say it again - in the KR game, the macro was fairly poor and they weren't effectively spending their income. They were floating close to 10k resources on 150/200 supply. While their micro was fantastic, that's what you'd expect on KR. Macro was the giveaway, I guessed Diamond 2 for that one, so not quite but close. EDIT: Yeah, income was high as they were expanding loads, but they still failed to spend properly.
