"Wait wait not yet" you can almost hear desperation in your voice!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 my family was like this and most famous example in our house was we threw away a broken lamp once that STILL HAD the plastic cover on the shade!!! I vowed never to do that when I grew up and now I always rip off the plastic right away!!! Get a cheap tempered glass cover for your iPhone screen!! They sell it on AliExpress for like less than a buck..!

I was internally screaming nooooo when you said youre going to take the plastic off. I finally sold my small 19" tv from college (had it for 4 years), the guy buying " oh wow it's in great condition, it still has the plastic on." The tv remote was also in it's original packaging.

Man, I grew up in a household with parents/grandparents who did this, and it drove me nuts as a kid! I hated how it looked dulled out and often, air bubbles would get in and make it look even worse.

I'm the opposite, I just can't stand plastic on my stuff. The minute I hold a new phone I just have to take it off, because it really bothers me. Even if I don't see it, just the knowledge that IT'S THERE. I guess everyone has their own weird obsession. 😂

Gosh! Plastic addiction -- Same here. To irritate me, my boss peeled off 1/4 of my phone‘s surface plastic and I was like... “NOOOOOOOOO !!!” it's something about knowing that all those surfaces with the plastic still intact, makes me feel it's soooo ♡ clean and new inside. I mean, preventing scratches, dust and all.

Mate, no worries, I do that all the time. My TV still has it too but my need for perfection overpowers my need for the plastic. Once I notice it's coming off, I just take it off.

Phil, you should get a screen protector and case for your phone. I usually get these on the day I get my new phone. Even with the plastic on, I would feel that my phone isn’t ‘safe’ if I accidentally drop it...

I wish I had the the idea to cut the plastic that was not sticky anymore instead of taking off the whole plastic from my phone. I have a similar problem of not wanting to take the plastic wrap off new items. You should get a screen protector for your phone if you don't want a case.
