damn, man. im so similar to you lol. shy, don't smoke don't drink. boring. i've liked one video game intensely for a long time so spent a lot of my time indoors on the computer, by myself. i'm in my thirties. no marriage. no kids. no drama in my family either.

I wish I had the time to express just how much this video connects with me. I'm in my 30s and I've lived very much the same experience as you in broad strokes. Weird or extremely niche interests, making up stories to sound more interesting (but a terrible liar), being generally inoffensive to people, but never a person someone is excited to see, extreme social awkwardness, I could keep going... Point is, I see myself through you in this video. I don't think that alone is going to change the course of my life or anything, but it definitely feels cathartic to stumble across a, sorta, funhouse mirror of my own life experiences.

Did Trevor Noah's "I'm a loser" clip spark this? Dude you have nearly 20,000 subscribers (I wish can I borrow some) because people like what you're interested in. I'm just saying. You teach us all so much. I know about ELO now because of you. What's the best song to listen to? I'm proud to say I've been knowing you since you were 20 something. Some uneducated folk are addicted to drama and yes it's annoying. Now that's not who we want to be. And you're right that Apple top 10 all time list is rage worthy when you research and know what you know. The fact that you have a podcast and you can interview interesting people and share info or amazing content about pop culture means you need your own top 10 and we'd be here for it. Can I be a guest one day? Thanks for working on being more authentic (I'm working on it too) and sharing your favorite books, films, and music. At least you can laugh at yourself unlike Trevor Noah who says he's a loser and starts most likely lying about plus one discrimination. Just remember honesty is still the best policy, and as they say comparison is still the thief of joy.
