Pen Tool Basics
Assets: www.joshuapome...
Import the Sketch File from the Asset Folder
Create a new frame (1080x1080 - Instagram Square)
Drag and Drop the image into Figma’s working area
Trace the Sketch with Vector Shapes
Select the Pen tool from the Tool’s Panel or by pressing “P” on the keyboard
Start by tracing one small sections at a time
Use straight lines and close each shape by connecting the points
Hold “Ctrl” and push and pull the straight lines to create curves
Format and Arrangement
Remove the strokes and assign colors to the finished shapes
Group the shapes together and arrange the composition
Add an Export command and select JPG from the drop-down options
