Figuarts Super Saiyan/2 Trunks - Third Party Ali-Express Hair Head Sculpt Set plus Aura - Review

Hey folks Deano here! This time with a new third party custom hair head sculpt set not from possessed horse, demoniacal fit, kong, or even tonsenart toys as far as im aware! This is a set for both the saiyan armor and boy from the future 3.0 Trunks, and while its quality is.....debateable, is it still worth it for the hair? Lets find out!

For some reason, their name is backwards, Retrograde River is their name by the looks of it. No idea why they spelled it backwards; maybe to dodge legal action? Idk.

@@BigDeanoReviews I think they have it backwards, because the whole image looks mirrored. Look at what side Trunks' sword hilt is on. I think its just a misprinting.

Sorry Deano...this has to be the worse 3rd party pieces I've seen in awhile. Not too much to be desired but maybe they are very cheap to be enough to overlook the hideous faces...Thank you so much for sharing such an informative content.

Oh 100% agreed lol, they arent the best but tbh I mostly wanted it for the aura effect.... then I found they were selling it separately so thought I might as well review both at once. Wouldnt be my channel if there werent some questionable quality figures or parts in it lol

@@BigDeanoReviewsI managed to find it anyway, whats the issue with the Bandai faces fitting? Does the hair need to be trimmed or the faceplates?

@@big_ounce-hs8pf Not sure, but obviously I wouldnt want to trim the official faces so id try trimming the hair first. Honestly even though the fit isnt perfect its not really noticeable once the figures posed and on a shelf.

@@BigDeanoReviews if it’s a small gap some heat would probably fix it, I have a duplicate of the new armor trunks so I don’t mind trimming it to achieve his look so I can pose him with imperfect cell
