By this point, the show's judges could only accept answers from panelists that were *exactly as written* on the board. This was a rule patch from the first season, where the judges were more lenient in accepting synonyms for words on the board. In the first episode to be recorded, the second guest's talent was "Burps a Christmas Song" (he belched _Jingle Bells,_ by the way.) Lori Beth Denberg asked "Do you burp a Christmas...carol?", which the judges took.

The judges were strict in later seasons, to the point where only the exact words of whatever it was the participant did/ invented. In the first recorded episode, the second contestant's talent was "Burps A Christmas Song." Lori Beth Denberg guessed "Burps A Christmas *Carol."* This response was accepted by the judges. Later seasons patched this, possibly to protect the game's integrity.

Yeah. Danny said "Man" and got buzzed only to immediately after say "Boy" and Summer to say "Oh! No that doesn't count!". With the other one, the answer was "Retired" and Travis said "Legless" (joke answer); Amanda said "Gray" (also a joke answer); Danny said "Veteran" and Lori Beth said "Elderly". * Danny came close another time too. When it was "Pulls Belly Button Out of blank" ("Body"), he came the closest with "Socket". * There were other close calls too. Those are the ones that stand out most to me at this moment.
