Thanks for the video Aimée, you are so helpful! I am a pre-preliminary skater and need to add a choreographic step sequence to my program, but I’m not sure what the requirements are. Could you help me out or point me in the direction of where I could find that information? Thanks!

I wish that I could! Unfortunately, I have not been able to find that specific information either! The best that I can tell, it's a hybrid between a step sequence and choreographic sequence. So, steps and turns with skating movements. That is how I've approached it with my skaters anyway! There are no levels. There is webinar for Excel in November and I plan to bring up the question at that time, unless I have an opportunity to speak with an official before then. It's best to follow your coaches guidance.

How is GOE calculated for ChSq? BV is 3. And I noticed that avg value of judges multipled by 0.5. So 10% is 0.5, so they use 5 as BV to calculate GOE?
