This was a very productive video. Thank you so much it’s really helped me. I think that’s the biggest thing is trying to not create duplication in more work. I want the planner to work for me not me working the planner so much.

This is one of my favorite videos from you. I want to have an actual perpetual calendar - not the one from the front of a Happy Planner or what most of the planner community calls a perpetual planner. I used to have a notebook that had all the annual significant events like birthdays, anniversaries, and invariable holidays that I could move each year to the next calender (since perpetual means everlasting and the year calendar in Happy Planners are not). I feel that would lessen the setup for those types of reminders. I am working on my own 2024 lists, so thanks for sharing this process.
@squairdplans Жыл бұрын
I always think I would want a true perpetual calendar, but then again, know I would forget to check it. And even if I did, I would need to transfer the events to something I would look at regularly so it would be kinda redundant. But that is where knowing what will and won't work for me comes in handy, especially before jumping in. Hopefully, you find a perpetual that works for your 2024 system. Happy planning!

Great Video ! So if you're about making planners this is a great video ! But actually you can throw most of it away and live your life. What is important to you and just put that in your planner and monitor and manage that in your planner for a great life !
@squairdplans7 ай бұрын
I agree. Each person can decided how much they need and how much they don’t. I have built up to this amount of planners and really enjoy the creative aspect tied to planning but could easily let stuff go if it is too overwhelming. You should tailor your planner to you and your lifestyle. 👍

How did you keep multiple planners in one planner? I don’t want to go up ring sizes, could it be the dividers I’m using? It’s bulky 😢
@squairdplans Жыл бұрын
I only keep one to two months in my planner at a time. I use a future log to manage anything that falls outside of those months. Depending on how many planners you need, you could likely keep your planner standard 1.25" discs, even with 5 planners or more.

What is a frankinplanner
@squairdplans Жыл бұрын
It is a term in the planner community that refers to adding multiple planners into one. I use the term to refer to the combined planner I work out of (5 planners in one frankenplanner) but can also mean splicing dividers from one planner with another layout (usually happy planners) to create a new custom frankenplanner.
