this encapsulates the exact feeling i have with someone i had a situationship with during my shs. we were friends for 6 years and almost half of our senior year, we were less than lovers, but more than friends. it was 'platonic' as he claimed, but who hugs their bestfriend and holds hands then tells them they are their 'pahinga'? he was my bestfriend, but we're in a no contact since he had his girlfriend; and, i think this really is the end for us. i never got the chance to say what i feel and hug him one last time before parting ways, but i know that he already knows deep inside what i wanted to say-he always did. thank you for sharing this great song! :)

I just want to share this story of my confession to her. Sige sabihin ko na. That day I gave her a confession and i was hesitant at first but did it anyway as time went by she didn't see my message for her so i waited and then after the graduation practice i went home and later she replied "slr hello nakita q na, since when and how??". The confession I gave her is "yakap by figvres" and added a time stamp 3:40. I was excited and didn't know what to say but i gave a long message to her and then she replied "i really appreciate your honesty and the courage it took to express your feelings pero i don't feel the same way sorry. i can't reciprocate and i prioritize my studies first. thank you and i hope you understand." I felt understanding knowing that i wasn't for her and knowing that she can't prioritize her studies first. "And realizing that is just one sided love (Unrequited Love)"
