Victory is a reason to rejoice and we should because young or old, beating Australia is a no joke, they’ve beaten Germany, Australia and again Germany in the last three games, we must rejoice, cheer up and support our team, this is hockey where we have to compete with developed and sporting nations across the world. I think the only thing that India lacks in and needs to improve on ( something they’ve lacked for a long time tbh) is defending, especially on the circle. After the first rebound they are either too slow at clearing it or they are not man-marking strategically and properly in their 25 and circle.

What was your Punjabi players doing from 1980's to 2014 indian Team didnt win anything in this time period even with punjabi players in it Now they are getting Better coaching and funding from central/State govt they are performing well not all of the players are from Punjab there are many players from outside of punjab
