The highest income tax shouldn't be more than 20%( from 35% reduce to 20% on a fractional basis not all of a sudden) in any case whether it is regular salary income or business or lottery or prize money or anything else. Sir, look at Real Rate of Interest instead of Nominal Rate. The Real Interest in India is Negative whereas in US it is still positive. So naturally cash will flow out to US, that will depreciate the Rupee n India will import inflation plus middle class will have lower saving but will need higher corpus of funds to retire making him bet on riskier assets. Lower wages n low employment growth will fuel the cycle. One solution is make real interest rate positive in India.
