This is the best modular cable design in my opinion. Love that. Completely agree with you that it does not sacrifice the size of connector to modularity. And the connector is secure and would not fall off like it does with some other modular cables where mini-xlr connector is shallow.

Looks like a gem to be listened at lower volumes. Great review nonetheless.👍 FiiO's (recently announced) new product naming scheme is indeed confusing for their customers -- i.e., everyone that missed the announcement is likely to be affected. 🤷‍♂️

If you go to their YT channel -- on the community tab -- search for the post on their new logo. The new naming scheme is one post before. It should be on late December 2022. They should get awarded for best-in-class broad communication with the customers/fan base btw. 😂

for me fiio fh3 is a very rare iem that's comfortable enough to wear all day (the other one was shozy), and that's durable enough to outlast its own cable more than once. the only issue i have with fh3 is its nozzle grating: its glue sucks and it's very hard to clean it. since fh15 has interchangeable nozzles, i'm really eyeing it

How does it compare to sony xba z5 and how is the soundstage/imaging in this? I am ok with bass and very sensitive to treble

I got one. With my volumes was perfect. Low volume sucks. High volumes was perfect. The treble raised and the mids too. So would be good for people to know.

@steviegdoeslife4628 not at all. The issue is that the pipes for the drivers are separated in the tuning nozzle that creates a air space. For the drummer, you mean . Monitor for live or recording or playing ?

This looks like a disaster. It's strange that Fiio are so random, they seem to be working in the right direction and then, something like this. I got the FW5 recently and it's not bad stock but can get it really great with the on-board EQ. I see you have this graphed, would be interested what you think of it. For sound- the rest is not great, buttons are easy to press when you don't want difficult when you do and the software is buggy and very frustrating, it took a lot of trying to even get this EQ in, it kept forgetting. But when I did, sound on these I'm very happy with. I wonder if the lack of a review is because they drove you up the wall trying to use them, I could get that. Yep, been maining it for a couple of weeks. Knob click is a bit loud, but it's a decent knob. I will warn, out of the box the performance was pretty chuggy, I worried that despite the Snapdragon 665 Android 12 might be too much, but after a day (or less) it settled down and performed as expected.

Got it. Hated the quality of the drivers. Bass sounds not clean. All nozzles sounded bad.the green filter has nothing inside. So I use that to place a sponge nedium density and placed inside to change the tuning and the distortion . Problem fixed. The drivers started to sound great. And the other noozle filters they have paper dumper filter that muffled the sound. So the sponge filter fixed all issues. Happy for that.

It’s very difficult to give you credibility when @9:35 you said there’s no treble just bass. That’s not accurate too much bass not enough treble tuning may be. I just spent the last 2 hours listening to this FH15 and thought there’s plenty of treble. What’s is your playlist like. I just listened to Nathan East and the Braxton Brothers both are bass on bass solo and they sound great to me with plenty of mids and trebles. If this set sounds underwater I don’t know. It just makes you sound like you have no idea what you are talking about or your margin for frequencies is so narrow. I get it that it’s not for you but to say that it has no treble it’s far from the truth.

It’s quite damaging to the company when you are publishing statements like that. I’m not a pro audio reviewer but I’m a musician a bassist I know what good sound is. The FH15 is nothing like what you said. How can one reputable reviewer said that this is the best Fiio made, Z-review, great imaging, sparkling, and sound stage and you said the complete opposite “no treble”. I’m trying to grasp the idea of how much treble and/ or how little bass is good. This is not as warm as the FA7 and I don’t recall you said that fa7 has no treble. Hmmm! Please give the example of your playlist when you said no treble. Sorry I don’t listen to graph. I don’t care much for it.

Zeos has different preferences than me, it can both be true that (a) he loves it, and (b) it has no treble. I haven't heard FH7, but I have reviewed FH7s and the FH7s definitely has more treble than the FH15. IMO worth learning to read graphs, this makes it really easy to compare things you're not able to listen to in person.
