Ola Chris. The buttons on the Mifo are not actually buttons, they are just part of the whole fascia that are molded to look like buttons. It's actually a plastic fascia and when you press what you think is a button you are actually just depressing part of the complete fascia. That's why the buttons don't seem too good. I have 2 pairs of them with one from each pair not working and now taken apart.

Okay that explains it, didn’t like the feel of the buttons and normally I’m all for the physical push in ones and not capacitive

I tend to review the more unknown brands but also what they will actually send me. I have some really good 1More earbuds coming that are very good and high end.
