They have both played poorly during this competition and are well off the pace of the tier one nations. They are filled with stars but don't play any better than 15 years ago. Scotland are practically part timers and heritage players who turned up last week and put a blue shirt on and Fiji weren't much better.

@@galinor7 FYI, the Fiji Bati has only 3 players playing from the last world cup with 3 other players playing from the NRL. The rest are Locals compared to Samoa, NZ and Tonga with many big names. But guess what, those Fiji Bati you mentioned in past years have never scored 2 tries against Australia but this Team not only managed to score 2 tries but also prevented australia from scoring 7 or more tries like b4. Wait for the quarter finals bruh!!!....Dont be suprised when Fiji Bati achieves 4 times Semi FINALYST!!!

Female rugby commentators don't work, they try hard to lower their pitch but it doesn't sound right, and they can't stop using the word "nice". In my personal opinion.

interesting that a critique of her commentary is taken as a critique of all females and not just her commentary personally. @@mikeryan4552 Women are great. It's a matter of vocal pitch, and tbh I find the vocab used by female commentators very hand me down, apart from "nice" which they've brought themselves. The NHL has some ok female commentators though. Women commentators for women's rugby is fine by me btw. Some men need places to get away for a while - women get plenty of places free of men, but they now have to insert themselves everywhere men go ie where there's attention to be had. In my opinion, untactfully but hopefully respectfully stated.
