We love Fiji here in France. Raw power and vivacity!

Yes indeed mate. The management should implement the missing links within the structures of the game but allow the DNA of pure rugby manifest within the team.

World rugby needs to do more to stop the problems caused by the French club contracts binding players to club over country. It's ridiculous. We need proper international windows, and clubs who don't release players (or suspiciously have their international players on an injured list when they should be available) should be sanctioned. South Africa lost Jan Serfontein to one of those contracts, a centre with more potential than De Allende / Kriel / Am / Esterhuizen. The other problem world rugby needs to sort out is the abuse of the "grandparents rule" and the naturalisation laws for players. Yes, Scotland beat Fiji ... but would a Scotland team (minus their imported mercenary players) beat a Fiji team (with access to all the players born and raised in Fiji)? I suspect not.

Blaming the clubs for this is ridiculous. Top 14 money is basically keeping World Rugby afloat, how is it that international windows don't take into account the national championship with the most international players ? Players being unable to play for their country because of their top 14 obligations hurts France far more than any other nation. It's why there might be a C team sent to NZ this summer. There is a problem there but framing it as a club conspiracy is laughable.

@@thomaslequesne5475 Oh FFS, here we go with another chicken team supporter who thinks his league is gods gift to rugby. Heads up chicken man, Top14 bosses are having an urgent meeting to reduce the salary cap years early ... because your league is going bankrupt because it's unsustainable. As I've told you clowns before, nobody in world rugby, except you chicken fans, cares about your domestic league. Very few countries even buy TV rights for the games. It's about time you realise that your country is always the outlier when it comes to any rugby decisions. You have a few billionaires who own teams, & they are disruptive to the health of the global game. Seriously, get your facts straight. You're the victim of too much French media propaganda. Your country does nothing for World Rugby finances. As for sending your C team to NZ ... that's because your chicken team is too chicken they will lose, so it's a convenient excuse. Always been that way ... France can't win away from home, and looking at your recent RWC, you can't win at home either. Have the bravery to get out of your little echo chamber for once, and as a fan, broaden your horizons, because this idea that your league is more special than what happens elsewhere in the world is laughable. The only small bit of credibility it has, comes from the hundreds of overseas players bringing their quality. France can't even pick a national team without a few foreigners. When you can do that, and when you can tour and get wins away from home, and when you win a RWC, then you can start puffing your chest out and patting yourself on your back ... but until then, talk is cheap.

Conspiracy here we come...🤦 Don't invert the problem. Top 14 is not the problem, the lack of competitiveness of the other leagues (except maybe URC?) is the major issue.

@@nicolasmaligner8753 No conspiracy theory ... just facts. Run along chicken team fan. No one cares about your chicken rugby until you win away from home and win a RWC ... until then you're all just hot air and BS talkers.

How do you think they can improve in the gap between the top 10 spots against teams like Argentina, Scotland etc.?

Could you maybe explain your marks a bit (especially when comparing different teams' results) ? Not every team should be held to the same standard, obviously. But seeing Fidji get away with an 8, a great mark and twice England's score, feels off. They got pounded by every half-decent team they played this year. Outside of those 3 heavy losses, a terrible Welsh squad is the toughest opponent they faced. That should lower their mark a good bit in my mind.
