The preparations commence the night before the birthday, as the entire family comes together for a dinner and engages in the creation of desserts to mark the special occasion. On the morning of the celebration, Leo diligently prepares the Palusami, meat, Dalo, and cassava for the Lovo, a traditional Fijian earth oven cooking method.
