Wow, I found this song by accident and my wife and I are a huge fan of this singer. My wife is not Polynesian and I am Tongan. We at least played and sing along to this song daily. Even my grandkids will stopped in their tracks to listen. It is the most beautiful version of any sereima version. To top it off, the lead guitar is a beast himself carefully picking his way through this song. I heard this guy has passed on but his beautiful voice will remain with us to keep his legacy alive and well. Malo aupito

talk about a seasoned singer...he plays with the rhythm and timing of the lyrics to bring out the emotions of the song. Just when you think he's missed the timing, he comes right back in and gets back into it. Just when you think he's not gonna hit the note, he adjusts ever so slightly and gets it just right. This is probably the only fijian classic that i actually enjoy cause of how my late grandmother always sung it with her siblings.
