Thief to like my stupid bil tried with my brother how did the idiot finally get caught? He stole my grandmas blood pressure pills SWAPPED THEM WITH ASPIRIN that would have killed her it was lucky mom noticed the difference in the pills she worked as a caregiver for years turns out he stole and sold stuff over the few years I don't believe that idiot just started taking drugs when he joined that one workplace after marrying my sister he is a total SOB and my stupid sister is just as bad as he is especially abandoning their child on us the first four years of the kids life at critical moments the kid wasn't even potty trained till the SOB ended up in the hospital and she literally ignored the kid for 11 weeks instead of coming around every day to help WITH HER KID the only good thing that came out of those weeks was the potty training at 8 YEARS OLD me and mom about had him housebroken at 3-4 years old he was going on his own with less accidents literally till his parents decided to be parents and he completely forgot we had him enough to start him on the training but not long enough to fully train him it was sad we gave up after a year him being autistic also doesn't help I was suspicious of that thief from the very second he blamed my brother only brought up my suspicion on why my brother would steal inheritence no he would have asked for it and I told parents brother isn't there 24/7 or living there somebody else was there except every other weekend when he had his son then they went to stay with his parents because my grandma couldn't handle being around his son not blood related to us even parents agreed with me it was suspicious but all the other family members believed that SOB which was why we didn't say anything except the one time mom mentioned that it might not have been her son stupid aunt pulled that of course you would believe your son BS unlike those idiots we saw plot holes in the SOB story that the others were to stupid to notice until the medicine started disappearing why? Because my brother would know better then to steal somebody elses medication especially the BP medicine especially when it was ordered through Hospice my grandma her last 3 years had cancer which is how he was caught red handed because my brother had not been around the house at that point 2-3 months so nobody could say he stole them

So OP messed up in HS,I think we've all done things we're not proud of, but she obviously felt bad and made sure Amanda was taken care of and no one knew what happened, so it could've been much worse. She stood up for people bullying her and came clean when she had no reason to. I wouldn't have incriminated myself to my teachers either! Plus it was a tit for tat thing which excuse me teenagers do! It's part of growing up and I don't think OP deserves to be labeled a "bully". I was bullied, so I know what TRUE bullying is! Amanda's continued mistreatment of OP when she joined the family as an adult was ongoing, and enough should've been enough! She tried to ruin OP's marriage and life over a HS prank she'd already gotten even for 10 times over! There's definitely more to it than that. It seems Amanda is jealous over OP dating Eric in HS. Hence, she's bringing him up to start this drama. At LEAST one of HER babies is probably HIS! Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, right?🤷♀️Karma always comes around. Having to deal with Amanda as a terror of a SIL was OP's, and Amanda losing her family was hers. Life works in the strangest ways😅

OP's prank in high school wasn't proper, but it's no justification for Amanda to do what she did. Even then, OP's prank was mild compared to Amanda swapping important papers and accusing OP of stealing a crush who clearly wasn't into her anymore. Even when OP played the prank, she could've teased Amanda about it, but didn't, instead thinking, "Oh... I went too far". We've all had a situation where we pranked someone, the prank doesn't go as planned, and then we feel bad about it. OP could've done worse, and her prank was once and done, with none following. Amanda, on the other hand, kept on placing scheme after scheme after scheme to get back at OP, so many times that it wasn't payback anymore. Even after what OP did, it would NOT have, in fact, ruined Amanda's career. I don't think any employer would care about a client farting on stage once in high school. Amanda was just being a bully at that point and using ONE event as an excuse for her MULTIPLE actions. Amanda has nobody to blame but herself for what happened to her. If Amanda had just let go of that ONE incident, and realized that both her and OP weren't thinking straight, then she could've gone back on track. Instead, Amanda let anger control her, and the cheating was just further damage to what was already a failed marriage at that point. Sometimes, it's just better to let something go than seek payback, or you'll end up causing more damage to yourself than the person who wronged you, which was the case for Amanda.

This isn't a case of revenge anymore. Yes, OP was wrong, but she did her best to make up for it and it was once and done, never pranking Amanda ever again, with said prank being, at worst, a major inconvenience, with OP trying to cover up what actually happened and defending Amanda as best she could. Amanda, on the other hand, did scheme after scheme after scheme, never defending OP, and never stopped, with some schemes capable of effecting OP for life, whereas OP's prank resulted in some laughs, a trip to the laundry room, and then people got bored of it. Amanda acted like what OP did was more severe than it actually was. If OP and Amanda each did the same prank to each other, then I'd understand your point, but that wasn't the case. Multiple paybacks are no justification for a single event.
