You could spend 30 minutes talking about the tray and it would be both interesting and informative. 30 mins fly by, pun intended, your videos are always full of great content. It is perfect to focus on one topic.

I would like to add: at least in North America, the wing ice light is frequently used regardless of conditions from taxi right up to initial climb at least, if not 10,000. This adds to visibility, even outside of low visibility conditions. I pair the wing light up with logo lights (when logo is separate on other aircraft).

Thanks a lot for beautiful explanation... Airbus has changed the procedure for Nose Switch before landing ... Now Nose Switch light is to be placed on Take off position (Not Taxi) same as it was placed before take off.

Fun fact (07:00), the strobing or rotating vehicle lights have to be on except when you're in one of the tunnels when you should switch them off. That's the way it is at LHR. Not sure about other airports.

There are so many similarities with marine navigation lights. Although we used a red light in the wheelhouse and not a white dome light so as not to affect our night vision.

You know it's really a shame that although they've put so much detail in this game, there's no built-in feature which actually reviews how well you're following all these procedures to give you some rating or feedback or whatever. You need to rely on payware addons, most of which only care about beacon or landing lights at 10000' transition. I've yet to find something that monitors all the different lights and forces proper use of them. As for the presentation, it's absolutely fantastic and covers pretty much everything. By now we're taking the content, quality and accuracy of these video series for granted.

Does anyone else notice a severe balooning effect on MSF20 with the Airbus...stable approach then its almost like the throttles go to TOGA (they don't, but feels that way) and last few seconds of approach the aircraft just seems to gain altitude and floats - never had this issue in XP and flown the Airbus for couple years

Q3. Taxi Lights. At what point do you turn the turn off the taxi lights when parking at the gate? Is it before you turn towards the gate so that you don't blind the marshaller or do you keep them on for the turn so you can see better and turn them off as you approach the marshaller closer?

Q1. Taxi Lights. I read somewhere that taxi lights indicate that your aircraft is in motion or is about to move. If you have stopped taxiing, you should turn off your taxi lights. For example to give way to another aircraft at an intersection or holding short at the runway, you should turn them off to indicate to the other aircraft that you have indeed stopped and do not intend to move. Is this true?

Sorry to comment on old video, but was wondering if there is any procedure to turn of taxi light when stopping during taxi, for example holding to let another aircraft pass, or waiting in a queue? I know that this can happen in the 737.

Just getting back into flight sim after having a dead computer since MFS released. Old video so probably won't get a reply but Question: Does procedure change in a Airbus during inclement weather such as thunderstorm, heavy rain and fog... Perhaps i missed it but you didn't mention it in the video only saying you would keep interior on dim until possibly tod when it would be switched off. it was my understanding that during atleast thunderstorms all cabin lighting should be set to bright to decrease the chance of flash blindness. Majority of my flight sim hours have been on Boeing aircraft namely in XP11 and getting back into MFS i've been flying the A32NX primarily, atleast what majority of the Boeing checklist (OM/FM) i used to use always suggested and some aircraft even have a dedicated Storm button that forces all lights on in cabin.

Q2. Navigation Lights. I read once that Nav lights should always be turned on as soon as the aircraft is powered up. This can be a warning to ground crew that you may be doing control checks or control surfaces can move so they may want to stand clear or not be startled. Is this true?
