boi this Airbus... Amazing feet of tech!!! Last time my A320 IRs failed pretty much right after tah-keh-off (takeoff) and I had no idea what to do. I declared an emergency and luckily there was ATC in KATL VATSIM. Managed to to a smasher on the same runway I took off of, and crashed the sim, somehow... and now, I see this video. Thanks a ton capt. Really enjoy your informative vids. thanks!

Hi, Great video. Usually I have failures off, you need to know the aircraft in and out to deal with them correctly. I do not want to pressure you but I would love if you create A300 material also. Let me know what you think.

Hey these are great videos! You are really good at teaching and making videos, hope you grow. I am a sim pilot who watches other real world pilots however I fly in Prepar3d with the FSLabs a320 series. I think it’s very good similar to Toliss, have you tried it?

Prepar3d uses lookup tables instead of actually simulating wind on flight surfaces (blade element theory), and that's why you'll see more people using XP11. Personally I like prepar3d for practicing failures and learning new systems, but I use XP11 for handing weather and getting a feel for how the plane actually moves around. Prepar3d feels "stiff" to me.

I remember we had a discussion on one of your livestreams about the engine start order usually being 2 then 1 unless it’s a 1 engine taxi. Having just been on holiday with a European airline that favours the colour orange, they started engine 1 then 2 immediately after. The right aileron was pressurised almost immediately during initial start so it wasn’t the blue system doing it as I know that occurs just a bit later. Did you ever find out why they may do this (someone said it was common in USA). I’m guessing it’s an airline SOP

It's to do with commonality. If one engine taxi departure is going to be used at all then it makes sense to always start the engines in the same order. You can imagine a tired crew at the end of a long day getting distracted and accidentally starting the wrong engine, or shutting down a live engine - it's happened before.
